It's quite rare to have visions in the middle of the day, but coming across three radiant beings on an October afternoon is sure to leave an impression!

They were as beautiful as the Trinity and dressed in super cool fashion with a twist of humor.

Check out Alan's super comfortable knitted sweater, or Oriane's very, very long coat like at Virgil Abloh's last show and Charline's super fit bomber jacket. Pieces mostly from responsible fashion.

Our heroes were back from the 18th arrondissement to buy fabrics to start making the obviously crazy clothes that Charline DA and stylist wanted to start creating!

After the Saint-Pierre Market, it was under the Enfants-Rouges market that they took a lunch break at the bustling Alain Miam Miam, maker of tip-top sandwiches and crepes.

It's thanks to Charline, who likes clothes that follow her moods, that the trio went for a cocktail and ended up on Rue du Trésor.

Alan, a true fashion model, in his very college boy look, shyly explains that he began a career as a model with participation in fashion week and publications in Vogue magazine.

Oriane, a beauty with caramel skin and a coat that makes her look like a modern Donkey Skin, admitted to us that the Marais thrills her. Another secret from this freelance journalist: “I never admit when I wear Zara” even when she wears leather pants from the fast fashion brand.

Divine brunch at the foot of Notre-Dame

Divine brunch at the foot of Notre-Dame

Of course, officially, it is not the Marais. But at Son de la Terre, a barge recently moored at the Montebello quay (5th), the 4th arrondissement is in sight. Moreover, this one is incredible: on one side, it is Notre-Dame flooded with sunlight; on the other, the quays, the book sellers, the walkers, the joggers.

Saka, a cocktail bar like in Tokyo

Saka, a cocktail bar like in Tokyo

Here is an address which gives the measure of the transformation of the Marais. And it's enough to silence the grumpy people whose mantra is: “It was better before…” No, everything was not better “before” in the Marais. Besides, there was no American bar like Saka, which cultivates a form of excellence that can only be found in Japan.

Jazz at 38Riv: The highlights of May

The only jazz club in the Marais, 38Riv is the temple of cool and swing. Rue de Rivoli, between Saint-Paul and Hôtel de Ville, its vaulted cellars are the home base of the new jazz scene. Every evening, the magic happens.
