Met at the Rastoll gallery, 16 rue Sainte-Anastase, of which he is a partner, the CarCam photographer immediately caught our eye. Impossible, it is true, to miss this “Magic man”, with his cane and top hat. We first thought of an alternative version of “droogie”, this terrifying nihilist straight out of A Clockwork Orange, Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece. But we were wrong because, very quickly, the authentic kindness and humor of CarCam won us over. And that was even before discovering his sensual and dense black and white works…
