In a world of clinical coldness, a woman in distress tries an experiment: dispossessing herself, freeing herself, disembodiing herself to migrate into another form. Can we be afraid in the theater as in the cinema? At first glance realistic, The Possession shifts insidiously towards a horrific fable.

Convinced that someone has cast a spell on her, a young woman, to start a new life, tries to escape by transforming herself into a rock, a plant, an animal. Little by little, a wizarding system is taking hold, inherited from the world of fairy tales and horror films.

Backed by this fictional vector of colonization of other bodies, which abounds in numerous cinematographic references, the quartet of performers evoke the fear of being replaced, the desire for the other or to be the other... Testifying to 'a drift towards a world of science fiction, where the gap widens between our deep aspirations and politico-social injunctions, François-Xavier Rouyer appeals to our vital energy, urges us to look, at the margins of the emblems of capitalist success , other possible paths and models.
