Roller Dance Party at the Jogging 2022 festival – ©Le Marais Mood / The Temple Square

The Jogging festival returns from June 29 to July 3, 2022 at Carreau du Temple for its second edition. This event provides an offbeat and stimulating look at the world of sport and the arts through exhibitions, shows, workshops, practices or projects at the crossroads of disciplines.

Thus, for the second time, the Jogging festival offers to unite art and sport under the large Halle du Carreau du Temple. Everyone will be able to discover dance shows and original performances at the crossroads between sport, culture and art.

The barely concealed goal of the Carreau du temple team remains to have fun while creating the necessary motivation for young and old to take up sport. But also discover the techniques developed by athletes or performers like Valérie Giuga and Anne-James Chaton, Marine Colard, Christina Towle etc.

In the light of the great rendez-vous of Paris 2024 giving a love of sporting practices mixed with artistic performances is a combo that many are ready to indulge in.

The program will therefore be busy or even intense and that's good!

Break Dance Battle at Carreau du Temple – Break Dance Crew

Between contemporary art shows, meetings and debates, sports workshops: fitness, yoga, pilates booty, fencing or even capoeira etc.

And the highlight will be the incredible roller dance party. This year, it honors the African-American origins of this practice.

So everyone will find something to suit them.

The opening party will take place on June 29 from 21 p.m. in the Grande Halle, and DJ Marine Colard will set the decks on fire for the occasion!
