Grove Evacuation, Ethan Murrow, The Girls of Calvary, 2021

The artist, born on a farm in Fermont, recharged his batteries during the pandemic, in his garden, under the trees. Then inspiration came to him.

These works feature him with the head of a bouquet of flowers or a tree and exploit the relationship between man and tool. Magritte's influence is undeniable in the paintings where the man is balanced on a pile of books or engaged in a surrealist duet with a sheep as in "The Passage".

Peter Bond, the wandering painter

Peter Bond, the wandering painter

There is something of David Hockney in this painter who, like his illustrious elder, illuminates the world with colors. But, as we know, the Englishman is unaffordable – he is the most popular living artist in the world – while the Australian sells for between 1 and 000 euros depending on the format, at the Gratadou gallery…

The best tattoo parlors in Marais

Tattooing, an age-old practice, has long been the prerogative of convicts, dock workers, the underworld and sailors. Although it has become democratized, now affecting all profiles and concerning one in five French people, including 16% women compared to 10% men, it still remains taboo due to its definitive and transgressive nature.
