“Stop there! » When we stopped them by uttering the favorite phrase of the “fashion police”, Kilian and Léo were on their guard. But their curious nature was stronger than their defensive instinct.

Suddenly relaxed, the duo shared a little suspended moment with the Marais Mood. Kilian and Léo happily talked about their outfits of the day, their current occupations and allowed themselves to be photographed in the street.

Kilian, who is originally from Marseille, abandoned “not very exciting” design studies in Orléans to take his first steps in modeling in Paris. A job that he currently practices as a freelancer. His dream ? Become the artistic director, or “AD”, of a fashion brand that practices recycling. Moreover, its La Moda shoes are made of vegetable leather.

What does he think of the Marais where he settled? “I’m living my best life there. I love this neighborhood where I feel safe. I can go out whenever I want and it's so much cooler than a lot of neighborhoods. » A student in a fashion marketing school, Léo has always lived under the Paris sky. He lives in Montmartre where his parents from Russia raised him.

Montmartre is good, but the Marais is really not bad, he says. “By changing neighborhoods, we change the atmosphere. Here, it's more fun, people's looks are more benevolent. » A fashion lover, he confides that he accessorizes his wardrobe by regularly borrowing pretty pieces from a member of his family. Today, it’s the Chanel bag, “stolen” from her aunt.

Like Kilian, Léo wears almost exclusively second hand. Later, he would like to create his own brand in order to create clothes with vintage cuts, in technical fabrics. “Something reminiscent of the crazy look of the 1990s,” explains this young man who, in his spare time, collects perfumes.
