Laura and Sara's look - Le Marais Mood

We saw her from afar, Laura, with her long legs, her neon shorts and her blonde afro, Angela Davis style.

A fashion designer at Fête Impériale, an eco-responsible brand based in the Marais, she was hurrying to rue Vieille-du-Temple to return to the office after her lunch break.

For a photo, it seemed like we were talking to Donna Summer at the height of her fame, during the disco era.

Dressed all in white, his friend Sara, a philosophy student at the Sorbonne, came as a counterpoint to assert a “normcore” aesthetic.

This style of clothing which highlights normality as opposed to sophistication. The word is a contraction of the English words "normal" and "hard-core".

Please note, “dressed in white” does not necessarily mean “wise”. “I like to party, I party and I'm going to continue to party,” Sara told us with a smile when we asked her if the “remote” classes weren't affecting her morale. Funky too, the Sara!
