The prestigious American bookstore on rue de Rivoli, WH Smith, has done a double blow. It changed its name – renamed Smith & Son – and opened a branch in the Marais, rue des Rosiers.

Smith & Son Marais is already celebrating its first anniversary in the 4th arrondissement. Miniature bookstore compared to the historic XXL address founded in 1970 (which occupies two floors facing the Tuileries gardens, near the Concorde, in the 1st), you can find the latest Anglo-Saxon literary prizes, works of fiction, books for adolescents and children or even essays that are debated in the United States on questions of race, gender or ecology.

We also enjoy the press section which offers some of what exists at the rue de Rivoli address. Including the essentials: Vogue in English, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Essence, The New Yorker, The Economist, Time magazine.
