In just a few years, the Marais has become the Parisian epicenter of second-hand clothing. Here is an overview of vintage in the Marais.
BIS solidarity shop
“Bis is the second life of a high-end and cutting-edge selection of ready-to-wear,” we can read on the front of this boutique located near the Cirque d’hiver. It's not entirely accurate, but the clothes here are impeccable.
In this affordable store, we appreciate the arrangement by colors, which makes the shopping session pleasant to the eye. We find a perfect locker room for going to the office or rendez-vous, tartan-style plaid skirts for €7, black pumps for €15 or even a pretty white lace top for €6. The shoe area is well stocked.
The prices are very attractive, often less than 70% of the original price, and do not exceed €30. We also find second-hand items for toddlers (3 – 4 years old).
The store's only flaw: the men's selection is almost non-existent.

In Tamil, one of the two official languages of Sri Lanka, Bhumi means "the earth". This name resonates with the ecological sensitivity of the boss, who opened his boutique in September on rue de Rivoli. The brand is already a hit on Instagram and Tik Tok.
The place is pleasant with its perfume diffuser and its two fitting rooms. “We wanted the customer to feel comfortable,” he explains.
The items mainly come from major fast-fashion brands such as Zara or H&M. Prices are aligned with those of Free'p'star, with t-shirts at €5 or pants at €10. We particularly appreciate the “everything for €5” selection on the top floor.

It is the most famous thrift store in the Marais. With its three stores (rue de Rivoli, rue Saint-Antoine and rue de la Verrerie), Free'p'star has never deviated from the original vocation of thrift stores: to offer affordable second-hand clothing, even in Paris.
Very popular in general, the stores are particularly busy on weekends and after 18 p.m.
Our advice: go there during the day to unearth “the” gem in complete peace and quiet. Prices start at €1 and go up to €30 or even €40. The prices are comparable in the three stores but the one on rue de Rivoli, nicer, is our favorite.

Specializing in second-hand luxury, Come on Eileen (the name of a vintage hit from 1982) is immediately noticed with its extravagant storefront. There you can find designer pieces at reasonable prices, all in an organized bazaar where you have to take the time to look. Some pieces remain quite expensive for second hand.
The brand is spread over three floors, with a basement specializing in men's items, a ground floor dedicated to women's fashion and a first floor for children.
Prices start at €50 and go up to more than €1000. Nina Ricci faux leather shoulder bag for €100, Christian Lacroix light wool coat for €100.

Lovers of rock'n'roll atmosphere will be served.
Here, towards Saint-Paul, the very London Calling decoration (the legendary Clash album) corresponds to the punk rock style of the years 1979-1980. On two floors, we find “destroyed” jeans and very “gothic chic” black lace tops.
Prices start from €30 and can go very high, but the quality of the items justifies it.

In this vintage temple created during confinement by the influencer Clara Victoria, the decor is neat and the items sorted by color.
Here, on rue Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth, prices range from €5 to €50, such as these pants with a very seventies psychedelic pattern at €40.
The place is remarkable for its decor, but not only that: the selection is careful. We recommend!

Impossible to miss this boutique located on rue du Roi-de-Sicile with its candy pink storefront. This charming retro address offers feminine pieces, ranging from the 1920s to the 1960s.
Bérénice, the manager, has always been passionate about fashion and it shows. Super stylish, she knows each of her pieces precisely, and takes pleasure in telling the story of their “hunting” to her customers. She explains that the boutique opened in 1996, a time when the Marais was not as trendy.
“I can’t stand second-hand fast-fashion,” says this lover of retro clothing, which offers, for example, a pin-up skirt, a Nice hat and a Roaring Twenties wedding dress. “For me, the point of second-hand shopping is to find unique pieces that will stay in my wardrobe for a long time.”
Prices range from €50 to €300, and beyond for collector's items.

Despite appearances, this is not a hair salon. But Vintage Désir has set up shop in a former hairdressing boutique where it has retained the old storefront. Which gives it a fun character.
Located on rue des Rosiers, this thrift store is among the most affordable in the Marais. You can find everything there: trench coats for €20, bags for €10, scarves for €5.

Here is a shop that lives up to its name: “small vintage box”. Here, towards the Chemin Vert metro station, you can find wonders thanks to a selection focused more on luxury brands like YSL or Chanel.
For €249, we leave with Nina Ricci mules and the off-white Chanel bag in monogram canvas is €459. Other “vintage” items are more affordable, like this pretty 1970s dress for €45. There are also old perfumes, jewelry and fashion accessories.
Izana, the manager, has been running the store for 13 years. She chooses each of her items carefully, and she has her eye! Prices range from €30 for vintage to several hundred euros for luxury pieces.

A classic, simple and effective thrift store. Prices are relatively high for the standard, but it is possible to negotiate. There are a lot of pieces there starting from 20-25€.
Here, we mainly sell Lacoste or Adidas, and not luxury pieces. But there is also a pretty summer dress for €30, a sequin top ideal for a disco evening for €15 or even Levi's shorts for €25.
For more attractive prices, rendez-vous in the back room.

Even if it's not a real thrift store, we like the seventies atmosphere of these two "flower power" brands with relatively high prices: scarf at €7, "bell-bottom" pants at €40 and the prices go up increasing.
A temple of “hippy chic”.
