Chance only favors prepared minds, said Louis Pasteur. It seems that the French scientist's famous phrase is correct. We first met Ryan and Nunzio at the top of rue de Turenne, last spring, but alas, an unforeseen event made us rush to the other side of the Marais, without giving us time to note their coordinates.
And here, last week, by chance! we encountered them again.

This time, the impromptu took place at the Bouquet des Archives bistro, on the corner between rue des Archives and rue des Blancs Manteaux. That day, Ryan and his friend Adrian, both Parisians, wore their clothes like stage costumes. Actors ? Rather, fashion players. Both are stylists. Every morning, as much for fun as for professional distortion, they choose their outfits according to the character they want to create, according to the mood of the moment, their “mood”. Or more precisely: their “Marais Mood”.

The best tattoo parlors in Marais

Tattooing, an age-old practice, has long been the prerogative of convicts, dock workers, the underworld and sailors. Although it has become democratized, now affecting all profiles and concerning one in five French people, including 16% women compared to 10% men, it still remains taboo due to its definitive and transgressive nature.
