There are only a few days left to admire Raymon Depardon's images taken in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1980, and hanging at the RX gallery in the Marais in Paris, until Sunday January 16.
In 1980, the French photographer carried out a commission for the Sunday Times on the Scottish capital. The report will never be published and the images will remain in the boxes until an exhibition dedicated to Depardon at the Grand Palais in 2013.

The public marvels: Depardon captures the end of a working world, idle, under a rainy sky, in front of coal-colored building facades. It's a large-format portrait of the little Scottish people, with beautiful losers and broken faces whose children seem to have only two hobbies: playing ball and blowing bubble gum bubbles. Adults heal from adversity with a swig of alcohol.

The large format prints, published in 3 copies, on silver paper (120 x 160 cm) are worth €18.000. The small ones (46 x 63 cm), published in 5 copies, cost €6.000.
