The long silhouette of the young woman stood out from a small group in front of the immense doors of the Picasso museum. Lovely like a “Jessica” (Chastain, Lange, Biel, Alba), leaning over a map of Paris, she was waiting for a taxi which quickly grabbed her and took her far from the Marais district.
However, we had time to talk and photograph this Jessica to ask her if she was a model. To which, with a bright smile and without false modesty, the young woman replied: “I am an actress. ".
In fact, Jessica Matten - that's her name - appears in Frontier, the Netflix series where she plays alongside Jason Momoa as well as in Empty Man (Disney/Fox studios). Producer of the series Tribal, she also plays a recurring role in Burden of Truth.
Furthermore, she belongs to a mixed race lineage, resulting from a mix between native Indians and French Canadians. One of his ancestors, Cuthbert Grant, is a rebel hero who distinguished himself at the famous Battle of Seven Oaks (Battle of the Seven Oaks, in 1816), against the Canadian government for the rights of the native peoples.
