Given the number of chocolatiers in the Marais, in Paris, it is difficult to imagine that 85% of chocolates in France are sold in supermarkets... where, obviously, we will not set foot!

To end the year in style, let's source from local artisans and, why not, from Jadis et Gourmande – a family-run, artisanal business with one of its five Parisian boutiques located on Rue des Archives.

In bars, in the form of pralines, sugared almonds, pucks, with dried fruits (we call them “beggars”), with orange: here, chocolate is available in classic forms but also according to the time of year , that of a chessboard, a checkerboard or even a “school kit” for the start of the school year which includes pencils, an eraser and a pair of scissors, all in chocolate.

Renowned for its playful creativity, Jadis et Gourmande also offers dark chocolate printing letters on a praline and gianduja base. They allow you to compose a person's name (ideal for a birth, a baptism, a birthday) or write messages: "I love you", "Thank you", "It's good for morale", etc. As far as we are concerned, the message would be: “ Le Marais Mood wishes you happy holidays and a happy new year 2022”.
