Under the leafy canopy of the island of Saint-Louis , the Art and Craft Trail returns for a second edition, transforming the heart of the Marais into a living gallery from May 16 to 18, 2025, on the occasion of the European Artistic Crafts Days.
While strolling through this island on the edge of the Marais, Parisians and the curious will discover the wealth of artisanal know-how in 11 addresses that give pride of place to art and craftsmanship.
In this strip of land lying on the Seine, both very close and a little out of time, each door crossed is a promise of an encounter: we witness the birth of a jewel at the Atelier Nour Mira, we marvel at the precision of a gesture.
Starting with Fabienne, who is welcoming Elvira Darizhapova and her jewelry to the Kara Gallery, as well as ceramists Julie Cornette and Javier Bacigalupo, for the occasion. And Jérôme Blin, whose fashion house offers unique clothing made on the Île Saint-Louis, will be present at the Kara Gallery and the Le 33 Mai Gallery.
Other must-sees include: Bamyam and its sublime pieces of oriental craftsmanship (fashion, accessories, objects…), Clair de Rêve , the shop of the creator of string puppets, glove puppets or ventriloquist puppets, the Ai Gallery where the works of the artist Bernard de Wolff are shown, the Carré d'Artistes Gallery , the Étoile Gallery , the L'Art et la Matière Gallery which is currently exhibiting Sylvie Schepens, and finally the L'Embrasser Gallery , whose delicate and inspiring selection we love.
The event is part of a larger movement: that of a city celebrating its local creators and defending a responsible, authentic approach, which runs counter to standardized production.
