A weekend to discover Africa differently, in the heart of the Marais. 

Du October 18 & 20, 2024, the Carreau du Temple is transformed into an Afro-chic creative hub for the ninth edition of Akaa (Also Known As Africa).

Having become a must-see, this contemporary art and design fair promises total immersion in the artistic scene of Africa and its diasporas.

This year, Akaa explores the connections between Africa, the Americas and the Caribbean, with a particular focus on the overseas scene.

On the program, around thirty carefully selected galleries, emerging artists who are shaking up the codes, as well as inspiring conferences.

Between striking installations and vibrant works, Akaa 2024 promises to be the rendez-vous perfect for discovering the new star of contemporary African art.

The perfect opportunity to stock up on inspiration, and why not, leave with a favorite under your arm.
