Created in 2007 by Christine Phal, Drawing Now brings together international galleries, emerging and established artists in Paris every year, offering an overview of current practices through exhibitions, talks and performances.

Drawing Now Paris 2026 takes place at the Carreau du Temple from March 26 to 29 for its 19th edition, confirming its position as the leading contemporary art fair in Europe dedicated exclusively to drawing. For four days, more than 70 international galleries and nearly 300 artists will present a comprehensive overview of drawing from the last fifty years, from the most intimate sheet of paper to monumental formats.

Divided into several sectors, the show mixes big names and emerging talents: the General sector, on the ground floor, showcases one artist per stand, while level -1 becomes an experimental playground with Process – The laboratory (drawing, research, photography, animation, architecture), Inception – The scene to watch for emerging projects, and Digital – The former future, dedicated to hybridizations between drawing, AI, virtual reality and generative practices.

Among the artists featured are talented young talents like Chloé Vanderstraeten , who explores the connections between body, space, and architecture; Maxime Verdier, whose narrative universe blends drawing, sculpture, and installation; Katarzyna Wiesiołek , specializing in drawing and photography, known for her introspective and poetic practice that explores melancholy, impermanence, and memory; and Maxime Parodi , whose work, marked by an introspective approach to drawing, flourishes through scenes inspired by cinema, memory, and domestic intimacy. Meanwhile, Jeanne Susplugas explores notions of confinement, the psyche, and connection to others through a multidisciplinary practice encompassing drawing, sculpture, video, photography, sound, and virtual reality.

Under the beautiful glass roof of the Carreau du Temple, Drawing Now Paris 2026 also offers a major exhibition, performances and conferences which this year engage in dialogue with the Printemps du dessin , affirming the forward-looking spirit of the fair.
